As Tangerine Tango was Pantone’s color of the year for 2012, orange quickly became a staple in our wardrobe. As we continued to wear it, we began realizing how versatile and fun orange really could be! We think of it like a neutral – it goes with everything! And lucky for us, we’re continuing to see orange in the spring lines that are popping up in stores. From salmon to rust, you can find orange in all shades coordinating with practically everything in your closet!
Classic: Take a cue from our very own Angela (do you follow us on instagram?), and go for an orange shoe. Try it with cuffed boyfriend jeans, a neutral sweater, and colorful scarf.
Casual: Try your orange skinny jeans with a lavendar silky top – the combination is unexpected and chic! Top with a chunky knit cardigan and ankle boots for a laid back look.
Dressy: Orange with black doesn’t have to scream “Halloween”. Throw in a white leather jacket (love this for spring!), studded nude heels, and a gold tassel necklace, and you can easily go from work to happy hour.
