Colorful denim exploded on the fashion scene over a year ago, and it’s not going anywhere any time soon! We are excited about evolving our color palette for spring, ranging from poppy and emerald hued brights, to sherbet yellow, lavender, and pastel pink. If you treat your color like a neutral it will work with just about anything.
The Basics: Our favorite way to work it is by mixing in some neutral pattern on top – stripes, polka dot, florals, or tribal prints, just to name a few. The safest way to give it a go is white or ivory on top, but at least throw in a little pattern to avoid being TOO safe or boring!!
Color & Black: Black and navy look great with just about any color. We love a striped blazer with a feminine top underneath. Wear the look with flats for an around-the-town sort of look, or pair with heels or ankle booties for a day at the office.
Color & Color: Color looks great with other color! As long as they don’t “clash” (which is pretty hard to do), there are truly endless combos that look great together. Try purple and yellow, and ground it with a neutral dot top like we did. Don’t forget to style the outfit with rolled sleeves on the blazer and “half tuck” the blouse!
